ONE-STOP COMMUNICATIONS DONATING TWO-WAY RADIOS TO FIRE, POLICE AND EMS.

LEWISTOWN, PA –

One-Stop Communications will be introducing their new Icom two-way radio dealership by donating radios to Mifflin County fire, police and EMS departments over the next several months.

One-Stop Communications acquired the Icom two-way radio dealership in February and has been in the process of stocking and training with the Icom product line. Icom manufactures professional grade two-way radios for aviation, amateur, land mobile and marine. One-Stop Communications will be stocking land mobile radios, which are used in areas such as fire, public safety, security, government, industrial, commercial and farming communications. One-Stop will also stock a limited supply of aviation radios.

The professionals at One-Stop Communications have been selling and servicing two-way radios for several years, but until the Icom dealership they only stocked a limited amount of consumer and professional grade radios. With Icom they will be stocking a full line of professional grade radios. Icom currently supplies the radio system used by the U.S. Army for inter-squad communications.
Within the next several months One-Stop Communications will be contacting Mifflin County fire, police and EMS departments to arrange for the delivery of a brand new Icom two-way handheld radio. Over $12,000 worth of two-way radios will be donated in the months to come. “It is our way of saying thank you to the emergency organizations that serve Mifflin County,” says Michael Buffington, owner of One-Stop Communications.

A group photo of all organizations receiving a donated two-way radio will be scheduled. One-Stop Communications will request each organization bring one piece of emergency response equipment for this group photo. Time and location to be determined at a later date.
